Our Founder

John Beeler, BOCP, BOCO is a second-generation orthotist and prosthetist. John first began working for his father in the early 1980s. Beeler became a Registered Prosthetic Technician in 1989, managing several prosthetics labs in Central Missouri and Kansas City throughout the next decade.

In the 2000’s he developed a fabrication unit for a Washington, D.C. area outfit, and became a board-certified practitioner soon thereafter. Seeking a different pace, he then practiced in Virginia Beach, where he proudly served many of our country’s veterans throughout Hampton Roads.

He has served on the Board of Certification’s Item Writer’s Committee, helping create the standards future orthotists and prosthetists must demonstrate to obtain certification. He has also participated in the American Orthotic and Prosthetic Association’s Policy Forum on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.

Now residing in Baltimore County, Maryland, Beeler Prosthetics and Orthotics enables him to continue his lifelong pursuit of improving mobility for patients.
